It takes a real effort to turn the handle, but that solid, historical feel is exactly why I wanted it. The compact size fits perfectly on my counter and makes a wonderful talking point.

The red paint against the black body gives it a nice old-fashioned look that stands out on my counter. It takes some elbow grease to grind enough for a single cup, but the sound and feel of the gears turning is honestly kind of satisfying.

Picked this up for my morning ritual, and the cast iron crank handle feels solid and satisfying to turn. The deep red paint on the base is still vibrant after all these years, which is incredible.
