1880年代No.1小型Spong & Co Ltd桌上型手動磨豆機

The grinding mechanism on this little Spong & Co hand grinder is surprisingly smooth for something over a century old. I’ve been using it for my morning espresso and love the vintage feel of the bench-mounted design. It’s a solid piece of history that still works beautifully.

The cast iron base feels incredibly solid when I'm grinding—no wobbling at all even with a firm hand on the crank. It takes a bit of muscle to get through a full dose, but the aroma that comes off those freshly ground beans is absolutely worth it.

The bench-mounted design is a real showpiece, and the cast iron has held up beautifully for over a century. It grinds with a satisfying, heavy crunch that feels like history in your hands.
