The crank on this 1.5-meter-tall cast iron grinder moves with a satisfying, heavy momentum once you get it started. It's become a real conversation piece in my kitchen, and the dark green paint has held up well over the years. A bit of a workout, but the aroma of fresh grounds is worth it.

The cast iron build is incredibly sturdy, and the crank turns smoothly even after all these years. At 1.5 meters tall, it’s a real statement piece on my counter—grinds beans perfectly for my morning espresso. Couldn’t be happier with this vintage find.

I was skeptical about the green cast iron finish holding up, but after a month of daily use it still looks like a museum piece. The grinding mechanism feels incredibly solid, and that 1.5-meter height actually makes hand-cranking surprisingly comfortable.
