The grain on this ash handle is gorgeous—mine has a subtle swirl that feels warm in the hand, and it fits the grouphead snugly with zero wobble. I know timber needs a bit of oil now and then, but that’s a fair trade for how solid and comfortable it makes pulling shots.

Finally, a portafilter handle that actually feels solid in the hand—the ash wood has a nice, tactile warmth that the usual plastic ones lack. It sits comfortably during a pull, and knowing it needs occasional oiling is a small price for this look.
