The flow control paddle is a game changer for dialing in lighter roasts—I can actually stretch pre-infusion and watch the shot timer adjust in real time. Steam power is genuinely quick, and the separate PID for steam keeps milk texture consistent even back-to-back.

I wasn’t sure I needed flow control until I tried dialing in a light roast—now I can’t imagine pulling a shot without it. The steam wand is powerful enough to texture milk in under 10 seconds, which makes mornings feel professional.

The flow control gives me exactly the pre-infusion I was hoping for, and the dual boiler means I can steam milk while pulling a shot without any delay. The shot timer on the display is a nice touch for dialing in consistency.
